Steps to Resolve a Jammed Door Lock Indicated by the IQ Panel

Step 1: Verify the Lock's Status

  1. Check the Lock:

    • Go to the door lock in question and inspect it for any obvious physical obstructions or issues.

Step 2: Manual Operation

  1. Try to Manually Operate the Lock:
    • Attempt to manually lock and unlock the door using the thumb turn. This can sometimes clear minor jams.

Step 3: Check Battery Level

  1. Ensure Adequate Power:
    • Check the battery level of the door lock. Replace the batteries if they are low or dead.

Step 4: Inspect for Physical Obstructions

  1. Look for Obstructions:
